‘The Raven Tells A Story’ – Book Dedicated To Bhutan’s 4th King Jigme Singye Wangchuck Launched

Coinciding with the 111th National Day celebrations, an e-book and audiobook of ‘The Raven Tells a Story’ will be released today.

The book by Her Royal Highness Princess Sonam Dechan Wangchuck is dedicated to the Father of Bhutan’s Constitution, the Fourth Druk Gyalpo, Jigme Singye Wangchuck.

‘The Raven Tells a Story’ targets readers of all ages. The story follows the protagonist, Singye on a quest for answers about a curious book.

Aims of publishing the book ‘The Raven Tells a Story’

The book articulates that the Constitution of the Kingdom of Bhutan is not simply a gift from His Majesty The Fourth King Jigme Singye Wangchuck. It is also a collection of the finest values and ideas to create a system of government that would ensure the best chance for Bhutan’s progress and stability.

Copies of ‘The Raven Tells a Story’ have been distributed to all schools in the country, including tertiary institutes.

The launch of the e-book and audio book is aimed at further increasing the number of readers in Bhutan and across the globe.

The e-book can be downloaded for free from www.jswlaw.bt and www.bnli.btand as well as from the official Facebook page of the BNLI & JSW Law.
