Paro FC Clinches Third Consecutive Victory in BOB Bhutan Premier League
Paro FC has once again claimed the BOB Bhutan Premier League championship, marking their third consecutive title victory during the season's climax at Paro's Wochu Sports Arena.
This accomplishment signifies Paro FC's fourth championship since the league's inception in 2018. They have thus far won the championship in 2019, 2021, 2022 and 2023.
Despite a 1-2 loss to Transport United FC in their most recent match, the Tigers had already secured the title well before the final day's kickoff. Their impressive record of 16 wins, 1 loss, and 1 draw translated to a total of 49 points out of a possible 54.
Thimphu City FC secured the second spot on the league table with 42 points, while Transport United FC clinched third place, surpassing RTC FC with 37 points. Karma Jigme, President of Paro FC, expressed his satisfaction with this year's results, emphasizing the significant effort and resources invested in their victory. He anticipates a competitive challenge from other clubs in the next season.

Additionally, Paro FC's head coach, Pushpalal Sharma, received the BFF President’s Coach of the Year award, acknowledging the collective efforts of the management, fans, technical teams, and players in their success.
Armand Beadoum of Thimphu City FC was honored with the Golden Ball for the highest goals scored and was recognized as the season's most valuable player.
Yuya Kuriyama from Thimphu City FC was named the best goalkeeper, while Chimmi Dorji from the Ugyen Academy FC earned the title of young emerging player of the year.
