Held as part of the Royal Highland Festival on 23 and 24 Oct 2018, the Laya Run is one of the many exciting events which took place.

27-year-old Kinley Zam is the winner in the women’s category. A mother of two from Lunana, she completed the 25-kilometre Laya Run in 2 hours 39 minutes 50 seconds.
While 35-year-old Sangay Wangchuk came in first in the men’s category. An army physical instructor, he completed the race in 2 hours 7 minutes 48 seconds.

In the third anniversary of the Laya Run, 24 women, including three foreigners took part in the race while 52 men, including three foreigners participated.
