Bhutan, a Himalayan kingdom, is a landlocked country located between China and India. The ceremony is usually performed at Bhutanese hosts house and nowadays the reception takes place in hotels and resorts. Besides the ritual ceremony, there will be mask dances, folk songs and dances performed by dancers from local institutes at the sprawling and idyllic locations.
