What is your birth mewa (birth marks)?

Mewa indicates a karmic relation from life to life.

Numbers have different meanings in different cultures. In Bhutanese context, nine numbers have special significance. The numbers range from 1-9 and each number is associated with a colour and an element.

These nine mewas (birth marks or moles) stem from a system of numerology used for centuries by Chinese. Each number has an interpretation of your past, present and future lives. Your birthmarks, moles or "mewa" is determined by your birth year. Traditionally, a birthmark is associated with each mewa, a probable length of life and a specific dharma practice.

Important Notes

One’s present and future are not determined by the Mewa alone. Your elements and the zodiac animal also play an important role. While it's fun and interesting to better understand how astrology affects our lives, it's important to note that astrology is not solely responsible for our personalities and characteristics. Human beings are complex creatures and plenty of factors influenced the person that we are today.
